So-you-can.org is our non-profit organization hwre we teach urnban youth how to sew and fashion design. We currently
involved in urban cities throughout NY and NJ. We begin out instruction with lacing in pre-kand continue through high school
years.
So You Can.org was founded in 2009 and continues to grow! Not only is sewing fun and a life
skill , but sewing is a vocation. We hope to instill the love of sewing into those that we teach.
Our
So You..Want to sew sewing kits are produced as grass roots businesses in these urban communities.
For
those that develop their skill set and want to pursue a seamstress vocation, we offer placement assistance. For those
that want to start their own alterations business we offer full support.
