Pads for Pets

In this community event, students will make animal beds which will be donated to local animal
shelters. Bring OLD bed pillows! These work
great!

Project Linus
|
|
Students will learn to make blankets. Blankets can be simple or complicated, small or large.
All Blankets will be given to children with stays in local hospitals.

Uniforms for Christ Orphanage
|
|
Orphanage is in Ghana where 150 youth are in need of school uniforms. We will be making pull
on shorts and pull on skirts.

Quilt Squares for Breast Cancer
|
|
We will be making quilt squares as part of our Avon walk for
breast cancer. People will be able to dedicate the squares to survivors, fighters & those who we have lost.

Open sew for a good
|

Come join us for an open sew, bring materials or unfinished projects and use our machines for
free. As well we ask that if you can make a donation towards the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer we will
be doing in October 10-11th. All donations go towards our walk.

Love Notes
|
|
Love Notes are handkerchiefs that will be hand embroidered with messages and blessings.
They will be sent to our service men and women overseas!

The Giving Tree
|

Come and explore your creativity! Come take an ornament off the tree and whatever is on the back
you make and we donate to a shelter.

Project Homeless
|
|
Come and help us make some blankets, mittens, hats and scarves for those less fortunate for this
cold time of the year.

Heart Pillows
|
|
Each student will make a small pillow for patients of heart surgery.
The pillows are used for support when the patient breaths or coughs.
